This match was supposed to be against the 1RAMD team. Alamak! Their manager text me at 10 evening to cancel the match. After frantically searching for opponents, none could play. In last ditch effort, i contacted UPM Staff team. En. Zainal the coach agreed to play. Hallelujah! Game on.
Shoot! come the next day. Around 4 something, dark clouds started to gather to the south of Sg. Besi area. We all wonder whether it will be game or not. Phone calls kept coming in just to find out if the game will go on. SMSes were sent telling the guys to make it regardless it rain rocks or not. By 5, the sky opened up just wee bit. Game on brother!
With UPM A pitch turning to a fish pond, the game again switched to the ever reliable College 14 pitch. Darn! it was perfect, not water logged. Game started with 18 fellas turning up on our side and swell to 20 with the arrival of Jason and Edwin. Those who have not turned up for a long long time resurface too. Alan and Big D (Andy). Lucky that Swee D and Batman did not turn up. Hmm...wonder what will happened. With such a big squad? What to do? First come first serve lah..and the regular gets to play first loh..To make our selection job easier, we ended loaning 4 of our young studs to the opponent just to help them make up a team.
Overall, the match was quite even. Not many clear chances were created. We were just lucky to score with an opportunistic goal when Crazy "ah Soh" was put through. He rounded the advancing keeper to tab in an empty goal. 1 - 0 to Wednesday FC in the end.
This is the third times we played this team in as many as 2 months period. The overall result is win 1 draw 1 and lose 1. Next week is back to Uniten agains JKR FC.

The exact number of players turn up was 21. Long missing faces like Tai D, Alan and Edwin also make it. Semi regular players such as Irwin and Siao Ji also came. Aiyoyo guys, if you guys are busy, don't come also never mind lah....ma kai, how to play with 21 players wor? Heavy rain also want to come meh, got so committed ah? If Batman, Sai Dee, Ah Chung, Joachim, Felix and Kim Tu turn up, we could have play 11 against 11 ourselves with 3 substitute for each side. Ma kai, really kayu lah.
And for those who keep calling me from 4.30pm to check if the game is on or not.....Mangkuk John and Gaga Sia....ma kai, next time I am not going to answer your call. You want to come, just come and wait lah. If you think raining and not sure if game is on or not, then don't come lah.....we got more than enough players lah.
If people like Waynaldo, Kayu Lee and MascheTailow can wait at Serdang area, why can't you guys just come and wait? Really kayu lah. Next time don't call me, understood??? (makai, I think Gaga cannot read English lah).
By the way, my vote for best player yesterday is keeper Kit who played with much improvement and come out early numerous time to smoothen opponents through passes.
Bullet Lee got the worst player vote for only watching from outside our own box when Alan was pressure by their strikers and rather then clear the ball out, decided to do a back pass directly to opponent's striker with none of our defence around. Bullet Lee was standing and enjoying himself seeing how Alan was tortured by their striker. Lucky that kayu striker instead of going for goal, pass the ball back to our player....
"Siao Player" award again goes to our Luan Luan Jao John. Going in as striker in 2nd three half, he was running and chasing like male dog who caught the smell of "jao shui" female dog miles away. Waynaldo has to shout, "John, dun simply run lah, stick to their last man, no nit to run back so often"......but sorry lah, all the blood has flown down to the cock, so the brain cannot think liaw, so our Luan Luan Jao keep running and chasing......really siao lah.
How often do you think Tai D will come now given that we forcefully get back his jersey?
He told Tan last time the jersey was lost already. Guess what? He turned up with the no. 16 squeky clean. When told by Waynaldo to return it, he damn tu lan..ha ha. Lets open a bet to see if Tai D will turn up for next game shall we? i say no. Leng chai here.

Brader, dun be too harsh on him. Tai D now busy mah, travel to China very often for business purpose. I spoken to him that night after the game and explain why the need to centralize the keeping on yellow jc. He does understand. He is also having different mentality now. He comes to enjoy the game, if he gets only 1 third, so be it. If he is fit to play longer and boss let him play, then he shoulder on. No more statements like "11 places u also cannot adjust one for me ah?". Guys, WFC is suppose for us to enjoy our football and meet friends, give Tai D a chance. Afterall he is definitely a very supportive guy.
Let see if he is true to his words. Time will tell. Personality is difficult to change.
